    I want to be there to
    paint and decorate the nursery
    and wander the baby section at Target with you
    and plop on your couch with a name book
    and think creatively to help you have some clothes that fit
    and treat you to dinner
    and watch your belly grow
    and restock your bagel supply
    and give you a backrub
    and go to that maternity store in Cary Town (Pickles & Ice Cream)
    and get out the hand-me-down baby stuff
    and bring you foods you're craving

    and more than anything...
